Visiting a new church can feel a little intimidating, so we want you to know what to expect before you ever walk through the doors.
You do not have to dress up to join us. Some people wear jeans and a t‑shirt, others wear more traditional Sunday clothes—just come in what is comfortable and modest for you. You will be welcomed, not judged or put on the spot.
Our church family will meet you at the door with a smile and can help you find the sanctuary, restrooms, and children’s areas. If you have any questions, just ask—our people are happy to help you get where you need to go. You are free to sit anywhere in the sanctuary and participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
Our Sunday morning service includes congregational singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and a Bible‑based message that is clear and practical for everyday life. The music is Christ‑centered and the atmosphere is relaxed but reverent as we focus on Jesus together. The service typically lasts about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
Sunday School begins at 10:00 AM, and our Sunday Morning Worship Service begins at 11:00 AM.
We love having children and families in church. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages and a safe, caring environment for kids, with workers who have been screened and trained. Children are welcome to stay with you in the service, or you can take advantage of our age‑appropriate classes and nursery as available.
In addition to Sunday School and Sunday morning worship, we offer a weekly Ladies’ Bible Study on Mondays at 6:30 PM, a men’s group that meets at 6:30 PM on the last Thursday of each month, and Wednesday night studies for all ages at 6:30 PM. These gatherings are great places to build relationships, ask questions, and grow in your walk with the Lord.
Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene is a Holiness church that loves God, loves others, and seeks to live holy lives through the power of Jesus. Our desire is to see as many people as possible come to Jesus the Messiah and grow in a real relationship with Him, no matter where they are starting from.
